Early Assessment for the U.S. Embassy in Santiago

Hollingsworth Pack provided constructability and phasing for a project centered on addressing planning alternatives for upgrading the US Embassy in Santiago, which had been built nearly 30 years ago.

Marlon Blackwell Architects led the efforts, including a team of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, in developing a series of alternatives ranging from 'minimum' intervention to 'maximum' intervention in response to various programmatic scenarios.

As part of the team, Hollingsworth Pack participated in the development process for each alternative, ensuring that the final version and related phasing not only reflected the programmatic needs of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations but was also feasible in terms of construction and minimized impacts on the embassy's operations.
