US Diplomatic Residence in Belgrade, Serbia

Quality Assurance Inspection (QAI)

The steep-sloped clay tile roof system on the U.S. diplomatic residence in Belgrade, Serbia, needed replacing. The existing wood structure and decking were repaired, and new underlayment, a two-way wood batten system, clay tiles, and copper flashings were installed.

Hollingsworth Pack was entrusted with performing a comprehensive quality assurance inspection of the roof, building envelope, and the associated waterproofing systems on the building during the construction process. The task included documenting progress and observations via daily progress reports to the client, ensuring compliance with building site rules and regulations, reporting security concerns, and coordinating with the construction contractor and staff affected by the construction.

The construction began in July 2019 and was completed in September 2019. The project was delivered on time and within budget, receiving commendations from OBO’s Roof & Façade Management Program Team lead for the quality of the work.
