Martissant Police Station

New construction of a police station.

Preparation of bridging documents for the design/build solicitation of a new police station in the Martissant district. The existing police station was demolished and a new, multi-story building has been designed and constructed as a compact unit in the limited space available, thus providing a modern, clean atmosphere. Documents included design drawings and specifications for the architectural design, structural engineering, and electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and sewer systems. In order to award the construction contract in the second half of FY13, the project was fast tracked to meet the client bidding schedule. Construction was completed by 2015.

Hollingsworth Pack Austin performed structural and MEP engineering bridging documents for design-build delivery, including design of self-sufficient electrical, mechanical and sewer systems.
