Energy Conservation Measures at US Embassy properties

RME Electric Corp from Aurora, CO, was awarded a Design/Build contract to provide Energy Conservation Measures at four different US Embassy properties on the Pacific Ocean. Hollingsworth Pack, along with Global Solace from Maryland, US, were tasked the design portion of the project. The projects originally consisted of Solar Energy Upgrades distributed into vehicle carports, roof panels and ground-mounted arrays. In two subsequent contract modifications, the project incorporated miscellaneous improvements as well as requirement to obtain a NetZero energy balance, which included Battery Energy Storage Systems on three ofthe sites. Steven Austin was the Structural Engineer for these projects.
