Founder Bryce Hollingsworth turns 90

Today is the 90th birthday of Bryce Hollingsworth, one of Hollingsworth Pack’s founders and the company’s President Emeritus and Chairman of the Advisory Board.

Bryce founded Hollingsworth Pack in Virginia in 1995, together with his former wife Victoria Pack.

Born in 1931 in Wellington, Kansas, Bryce holds a Bachelor of Architecture from 1954 and a Master of Regional Planning (Summa cum Laude) from 1965, both degrees from Kansas State University.

In 1954, Bryce began his career with the United States Air Force (USAF) as a Second Lieutenant and the 7th officer to report to the USAF Academy when it opened the same year. He served as the Chief Architect representing the USAF to the architectural firm retained to design the USAF Academy near Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He then went on to serve for more than 24 years in the Air Force Civil Engineering Career Field, before retiring in 1978 as Commander, 44th Civil Engineering Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, a major USAF Strategic Air Command base.

Bryce continued his career outside the USAF as Program Manager with Boeing AeroSystems International, based in Seattle, Washington, and stationed in Saudi Arabia, Greece, Egypt, and Iran. Moreover, Bryce’s career has included roles across the United States with TRA, URS, SAIC, Holmes & Narver, and Mei Technology Associates.

Bryce lives together with his wife Anita in Williamsburg, Virginia, and his hobbies are photography and collecting international stamps.

The Hollingsworth family and the entire Pack wishes you a happy birthday, Bryce.
